(Nepal)=name for red panda, similar to a tanuki(J)but has white eye mask instead of the racoon/tlacotli(N)black of the tanuki, and red fur,=poyaua(N)=of many colors,=poyoy(Tzeltzal Mayan)=skunk(Mephitis macroura). and, yes, ponya means bamboo, to color/illuminate/dapple(E)=tlapalli(N)=color red.
